Computer warranties

When sellers or manufacturers give a warranty it is generally called an express warranty. Make sure that you get any express warranty in writing so that there is no misunderstanding about what is covered and what is not when you buy your Personal Computer (PC).
Generally, you will need to take the PC back to the store for warranty repairs.
You need to ask the seller:
- where the repairs will be carried out (this is important if the seller closes down);
- if the warranty includes labour, freight, parts and software;
- the time it will take to repair items under warranty.
