Liquor Purchases by NT Regions

Liquor purchases by NT licensed retailers are grouped by NT Statistical Subdivisions as classified by Australian Bureau of Statistics as below.

Darwin SD and Environment includes the Statistical Subdivisions (SSDs) of Darwin City, Palmerston - East Arm and Darwin Rural Areas.

Darwin Regional Balance includes Bathurst-Melville Islands, the town of Jabiru, and the Statistical Local Areas (SLAs) of South Alligator, West Arnhem and Daly.

East Arnhem Region stretches from the community of Ramingining in the north to Numbulwar in the south, and includes Nhulunbuy and Groote Eylandt.

Lower Top End NT Region includes the town of Katherine and the SLAs of Elsey - Balance, Gulf and Victoria.

Barkly Region includes the town of Tennant Creek and the SLAs of Tableland and Tennant Creek - Balance.

Central NT includes the town of Alice Springs, and the SLAs of Petermann, Sandover - Balance and Tanami.

Pure Alcohol:  Liquor liter-age is converted to its alcohol content eg: pure alcohol content in full strength beer is 4.8%.
